The tickets were priced fairly, and like I said, it made for a nice evening overall. The only thing that bugged me a bit was the booking fee, like I said, not a huge deal, just kind of annoying.

The rink itself was alright, but getting there by public transport was way more of a hassle than I expected. The train to Hampton Court was fine, but once we got off, the walk felt much longer in the cold and the signs weren’t very clear at all. Coming back was even worse with packed trains and not many options. it made me lose a bit of trust in the whole setup because it sounded much easier than it actually was. I’d probably only go again if someone was driving.

The ice was bumpy and slushy, which made it hard to really enjoy skating. I wouldn’t say it ruined everything, but yeah, it definitely wasn’t great. We stuck it out anyway, though I was kind of just accepting it by the end.

Had a really good time overall, even though it was a bit more expensive than I expected. I remember checking the price twice while standing there with a coffee in my hand, wondering if I was being sensible or not. In the end, I’d say it was worth it, fun, easy to enjoy, and a nice way to spend a few hours. Would probably go again, just maybe not every weekend.

The problem is clearly whoever runs this is letting far too many people on the ice at once. It felt packed, with people constantly bumping into each other, and it wasn’t exactly relaxing with kids trying to skate too. I might go again at a quieter time, but for the price, I expected a lot more space to actually enjoy it.

The ice rink itself was fine and we still had an okay time, but as a mum I notice the practical stuff straight away, and the toilets were grim. The queues were really long, they didn’t feel very clean, and it just took the shine off the visit a bit. For the price, I expected better.

The queue was all over the place and it just felt a bit messy. Staff kept checking people’s bookings again and again, so getting in took way longer than it should’ve. Kind of put a damper on things before we even got started

Took my kids here and the rink itself was actually nice. They had fun, so I don’t want to make it sound all bad. But the supervision felt lacking. A few people were flying around way too fast and bumping into others, and I didn’t really see staff doing much about it. I thought about saying something, but I don’t have a ton of faith that customer service would take it seriously. It just felt like the place could be managed a lot better, especially with kids around

I’ve had better experiences with them before, so this was disappointing. The weather got bad and they just left us waiting around in the rain with no real updates or clear plan. It felt like they used to be more organized than this...

The rink itself was actually nice, I guess, and the staff seemed fine enough, but the skates really made it hard to enjoy. I got my normal size and they were painfully tight around the toes, so I swapped for the next size up, which somehow felt too loose and started rubbing my ankles almost right away.

After about 15 minutes my feet were already aching and I had to sit out. Maybe I just got unlucky with the pair, but they looked worn down and there didn’t seem to be much padding left. It’s a shame because the place seems decent, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth it if the skates are that uncomfortable.

I actually had a good time, maybe better than I expected. The session felt like a decent length and didn’t feel rushed, which was nice. Got a fair bit of time on the ice, and I’d probably go again.

I cancelled my order and the refund did eventually come through, so that part was okay. But it felt slower than it should have, and I had to chase them for updates. i felt a bit dismissed at times, like it wasn’t really being taken seriously until I followed up.

I’d say it’s probably a good spot if you’re just starting out. It wasn’t bad at all, though it did feel a bit crowded at times, at least when I was there.

When we first got there, we weren’t sure where we were supposed to go, but someone spotted us looking a bit lost and pointed us in the right direction straight away. Skate hire was busy, but the team kept the queue moving and stayed friendly even with loads of people waiting. I’m giving 4 stars because it did feel a bit crowded at times, but the staff were great throughout.

The hired skates were rough. They felt really blunt on the ice, and then the laces were all knackered too, which didn’t help at all. I kept having to mess with them, and they weren’t comfortable either. Just made the whole session more annoying than fun, to be honest.

I went to the Hampton Court Palace ice rink last weekend and it felt so Christmassy. Seeing the palace all lit up behind the ice was gorgeous, especially once it got dark, and it made the whole evening feel a bit special.

It was definitely busy, but not in a stressful way. The atmosphere was friendly, the music was good without being too loud, and everyone seemed to be in a cheerful mood. I’d messaged support beforehand about timing and they basically said to “get there a little early so you’re not rushing,” which was fair advice because the queues did move a bit slowly.

The only thing stopping it being 5 stars for me was that the skate hire wasn’t the most comfortable, and the waiting around could’ve been smoother. But overall, it was a really nice night out and I’d still recommend it if you want something festive and pretty

The place looked nice, but the rink felt way smaller than I expected and it got crowded really fast. There wasn’t much room to actually skate without dodging people. I also didn’t love that there was basically no human contact, no one around to ask questions or help out, which made the whole experience feel a bit impersonal.

I’m so tired of dealing with this kind of thing. I waited forever, and there was no clear queue or sign telling anyone where to stand. People were just guessing, and the staff didn’t seem to have it organized at all.

We had a really nice time skating once we finally got inside. The rink itself was lovely and had that fun wintery feel, so no complaints there at all.

Parking near Hampton Court was a bit of a stress, though, which is pretty much what always happens with popular places like this. The car parks were packed and we ended up circling around for ages. I’d definitely go again, but next time I’d leave loads of extra time or just take the train like everyone probably should.

Took the kids and it just felt too crowded. Staff weren’t much help either, so yeah, probably won’t go back.
